This is the Uno2 standard tool for profiles. This head is perfect for small medium and large shops. If you’re a small shop, you can buy one set of heads and then buy all the inserts for the profiles separately. When you want to create a different profile, simply swap the inserts to the chosen profile.
For medium and larger size shops. You should be buying one set of heads per set of profile knives. But its the same head for every profile, we simplified the system.
All of these heads along with any of the other heads for Uno2, have the same exact minor and major diameters. This is done, in order to complete the Uno2 system with our patent pending snipe fence. Used with the correct cutters this allows you to stick much shorter stock than previously using the feeder. If you use your preexisting tooling you will have issues with the tension of the snipe fence, You can adjust the snipe fence accordingly or make your own insert pieces for the snipe fence according to your existing tooling. but by using ours its already done for you, a seamless transition.
Custom tooling is absolutely available. As long as it fits within this geometry which most standard cabinet door profiles do, we can create it for you. Simply order a set under custom tooling for Uno2.
