Brian has been in woodworking his entire life — and we mean that literally. He cut his first finger on a band saw in first grade making valentines day gifts for school. We would never let that happen with our own kids but that’s how early the shop became part of who he is.

From that point on, woodworking wasn’t just something he did. It was who he was. He’s spent decades chasing precision, durability, and tools that actually do what they promise. If something didn’t work the way it should, he didn’t shrug and accept it — he figured out how to fix it or build it better. If you take a tour of the shop you will see all kinds of custom made jigs machinery and equipment made by him and his team to help with every day work.

With the support of his wife, he opened Gloucester Design, a high-end custom millwork and cabinetry shop built on tight tolerances and zero shortcuts. Between running a serious shop and raising six kids, life has never exactly been slow — but that’s kind of the point. When you’re building for clients all day and a family at night, you don’t have time for tools that are “good enough.” They have to work. Every time.

Designing and building tools that perform exactly the way he wants has always been a passion. Tools that are accurate. Tools that last. Tools that earn their spot in the shop.

That mindset led to the creation of Wicked Cool Tools.

We build and sell tools we would run in our own shop — because we already do. If you don’t see it in our shop, it’s not worthy of being in yours.

Wicked good Wicked fast Wicked Safe Wicked Accurate. No shortcuts.
